GREAT ROD TUBE!

I don't normally do product reviews, but I had to for this. I needed an aluminum rod tube for my; 11'6" 4 piece switch rod. Specifically, in needed a tube that was 37" inside and 2 inch ID. I called and the great folks at Clear Creek made me one that is perfect!!. Great craftsmanship and almost a work of art. Will last forever. The best $40 I have ever spent. Terrific Product and Great Customer Service

Ordered an aluminum rod tube for my 7' 4wt bamboo rod (it had been living in a USPS cardboard tube) and requested silver finish. I believed that the end cap and band would be brass as shown in the photos. Unfortunately when the tube arrived the end cap and band were silver and the tube itself was scratched in several places. While it is a given that an aluminum tube will be scratched and/or dented with use, I wanted to do that myself. Bottom line: I called Clear Creek and spoke with Brenda? Sorry if that name is incorrect., but she could not have been more pleasant and helpful. She told me to send the tube back and that she would have a new one made up with the brass fittings. She also explained that sometimes the raw aluminum stock arrives from the factory scratched due to shipping and that a polish with 0000 steel wool would have corrected most of the scratches. She left denting the tube to me. Terrific customer service and a marvelous product. Well done indeed.

Awesome

I was in high anticipation to receive this rod tube. I have a custom made 3-piece Spey rod worth $800 and protection for this rod for travel is crucial. Clear Creek delivered an outstanding product that I will trust for at least my lifetime. I was hoping for the brass finish but on second look, the silver finish provided looks super cool. Excellent fit and finish. Thank you Clear Creek!
